Bodine Koehler, who won the title of Miss Puerto Rico 2012, crowned her successor, Miss Arecibo, Monic Marie Pérez as Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2013, who will then represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2013.

Also, the contestants from Puerto Rico for the Miss Intercontinental 2013, Miss Supranational 2013, Miss Continente Americano 2013 and Top Model of the World Puerto Rico 2013 competitions were chosen.

Miss Earth México 2011, the 10th annual national beauty pageant of Miss Earth México, was held on September 17, 2011 in Quintana Roo, Municipality of Othon P. Blanco. Claudia Mollinedo of Tabasco, crowned the winner Casandra Ananké Becerra Vázquez from Distrito Federal.

The winner of Miss Earth México 2011 represented México in the international Miss Earth 2011 pageant which was held on December 3, 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theater in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines, where Casandra Becerra was Top 8 Finalists in Miss Earth 2011.

Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009. Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Elisa Nájera. She was the second Jalisciense to win this Title.

    The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Perla Beltrán from Sinaloa, who later competed in Miss World 2009 where she was the 1st Runner-up. Beltrán was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza Mundo México titleholder Anagabriela Espinoza. She was the second Sinaloense to win this Title.

    The Nuestra Belleza Internacional México title was won by Laura Zúñiga from Sinaloa, and she would compete in Miss International 2009. But she was dethroned on December 25, 2008. She was the second Sinaloense to win this Title

    The 15th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Arena Monterrey of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on September 20, 2008. Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009. Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Elisa Nájera. She was the second Jalisciense to win this Title.

    The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Perla Beltrán from Sinaloa, who later competed in Miss World 2009 where she was the 1st Runner-up. Beltrán was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza Mundo México titleholder Anagabriela Espinoza. She was the second Sinaloense to win this Title.

    The Nuestra Belleza Internacional México title was won by Laura Zúñiga from Sinaloa, and she would compete in Miss International 2009. But she was dethroned on December 25, 2008. She was the second Sinaloense to win this Title

As part of the events, the contestants also traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland between 23 and 27 October. Alexandria Mills of the United States crowned her successor Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela at the end of the event.     Miss China, 23-year old Wen Xia Yu from Liaoning, was crowned Miss World 2012 during the 62nd edition of the competition held in Ordos, China on August 18th. 1.78 m tall Yu, will spend her year working for charitable causes and fulfilling her duties as Miss World.

    Yu Wenxia (born August 6, 1989 in Harbin) is a Chinese model and beauty queen.
    This is the second time Miss China has been awarded the title. The last time was in 2007 when Zhang Zilin took the honour.

    Yu Wenxia is a music student who says she wants to become a music teacher.

    The 2nd Place was Wales - Sophie Elizabeth MOULDS

    The 3rd Place was Jessica Michelle KAHAWATY, representing Australia.

    Miss Universe 2005, the 54th Miss Universe pageant, was held at the Impact Arena, Bangkok, Thailand on May 31, 2005. At the conclusion of the final telecast, Miss Universe Canada, Natalie Glebova was crowned Miss Universe 2005 by outgoing titleholder Jennifer Hawkins of Australia. She was the second Canadian to win the title, following Karen Dianne Baldwin who was Miss Universe 1982.
